She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Brinley and Sophia Brinley (Schelk); her husband Kenneth A. Wheitner; her daughter Joyce Wiltrout (Jerry) of Mesa, AZ; and her siblings, JoAnn Whisler, Glenda Phipps, Jay Earl Brinley, Stanley Brinley, Roy Brinley, Dale Brinley, Keith Brinley and Russell Brinley.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Wheitner (Anita) of Shelby, OH; her grandchildren, Emellia Jones (James), Geordan T. Wheitner, Austin Clagg and Melinda Baugh (David); her great grandchildren, William Jones, Elaina Jones, Lyllean Booker and David Baugh, Jr.; and her sister Doris Gillum. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario (100 Lexington Springmill Rd S, Ontario, OH 44906). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hope Lutheran Church.
