She was predeceased by: her parents, Isabelle Plasencio (Rodriguez) and Augustine Plasencio; her husband Carlos Castañeda; and her siblings, Rita Dickson, Michael Plasencio and Veronica Villarreal.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Castañeda (Lourdes), Roseann Ruskinoff (John), Linda McCabe (Christopher) and Edward Castañeda (Amy); her grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie, Adam, Maria and Maya; her great grandchildren, Maddie and Noah; her siblings, Robert Plasencio (Vera), Carmelita Duran, Mary Rose Silva (Tony), Dolores Tramill, Richard Plasencio and Loretta Alonzo; and her pet Teddy.
Memorial donations in Anita's name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to the American Cancer Society.
