She is survived by: her children, Bill Sweeney (Lolly), Debra Smith (Jack) and Carol Witty; and her siblings, Mary Jane Pratt, Robert Frobase (Ursula) and Joseph Frobase (Helen). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Ignatius Catholic Church.

“Betty was one of my substitute teachers at Beaumont grade school. This was back in the middle 70s before she and her husband went over to the middle east and luckily got home safe. She was my favorite teacher and I visited her ocassionally over the years but haven't seen her since I brought my daughter over to meet her years ago unfortunately. I was wanting to look her up before I retired overseas but looks like I'm a few months too late. So sorry for your loss. She was inspirational.”
