She was predeceased by: her father Henry Karl Helmke; her son Eric; her siblings, Henry and Elaine Ackerman; and her son-in-law William Horton.
She is survived by: her mother Ethel Mae (Eaton); her children, Amy Horton, Janet Gray (Jim) and Charles Young (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Aaron (Alyssa), Bradley (Molly), Evan, Emily (Evan), Samantha, Austin and Grant; her great grandchildren, Elsie, Malachi, Laiklyn, Rylee, Weston, Nora and Max; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Helmke, Peggy Locker and Caroll Sutphin; and her friend Traude'Gerhardt. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
