She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Leahy and Margaret Leahy (Reineck); and her sisters, Margaret Jean Leahy, Mary Mehlow, Ruth Ann Bowser and Budgin Traynor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Kitchen and Lynn Langel (Gary); her granddaughters, Tara Shamy (Rob), Brittany Byers (Joel) and Jessica Visser (Joel); her husband Robert Smith; her children, Carole Belle (late Don), Jeanne Kerr (late Ron), Robert Smith (Sharon), Sharon Moody (Bud) and Mike Smith (Mary); and her granddaughter Deb Gough (Tom). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, to honor Eileen's memory, donations may be made to St. Louis Helping Hands, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or by performing random acts of kindness.
