He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Edna; his brother Kenneth; his son Randall; and his grandchildren, Samii Grindle and Randall Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Rockland (Lek Gleason), Kevin, Jerry (Michelle), Sean (Carrie), Sandy Cooper and Karen Fryer (Michael). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
