He is survived by: his son Jim Mickelson; his daughter-in-law Thasarin (Ton); his granddaughter Fynlee; his former wife JoAnn Mickelson; his sister Lois Kircher; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Mickelson (Peggy) and Janet Mickelson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving family members.
