She was predeceased by : her parents, Isaac Benefield and Jean Rose Benefield; her brother Larry; her grandparents, Lexie Brewster, Besse and Ollie Walls; and her son-in-law Ryan Herzig.

She is survived by : her husband Dave; her children, David II (Melissa), Michael, Sarah Helle (B. J.) and Matthew (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Jade Gibson, Averi Porter (Jake), Jenna, Witten, Addison, Sawyer and Nathanael; and her great grandchild Miguel.
