We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2026, at the age of 91, Mearl Edwin Sutton Sr. of Oregon, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sutton and Dorothy Sutton Wiley (Massel); his stepfather Bill Wiley; and his siblings, Charles Sutton, Robert Sutton and JoAnn Woods.
He is survived by: his sons, Mearl Sutton, Jr. (Veronica) and Mark Sutton (Boni); his grandchildren, Thea Viery (Evan), Amber Holmes (Adam) and Wade Sutton (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Elijah Holmes and Ann Marie Holmes; and his close friends, Kim and Ron Jaquillard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
