We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Merle Kettinger of Oregon, Ohio, born in Detroit, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tracy Kettinger and Iona Kettinger (Goulet); his wife Eunice; and his siblings, Kenny Kettinger, Dorothy Mominee, Don Kettinger and Tom Kettinger.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Kettinger (Julie), Joyce Kettinger (John Soltesz), Robert Kettinger (Carolyn) and Gerald Kettinger (Dianna); his grandchildren, Kelly Lepley (Travis), Keasha Clark and Kaesie Kettinger; and his great grandchildren, Jayden, Luke, Connor, Olivia and Rylan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home - Oregon Chapel (3500 Navarre Ave, Oregon, OH 43616). A Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church (212 N Stadium Rd, Oregon, OH 43616).
Memorial donations may be made to Genoa Retirement Village Resident Funds for Happy Hour.
