She was predeceased by: her parents, Rutherford Asher and Betty Asher (Warren); her husband Paul Sweet; her son Steven Sweet; and her siblings, Glen, Donald, Ralph, Rutherford Jr., Carol and Marian.

She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Sweet (Melinda), Scott Sweet and Gary Sweet; her grandchildren, Julie Sweet (Derrick Sattler), Amy Rodriguez, Nikki Titkemeier (Andy), Ashley Sweet (David Martin), Alisha Egbert and Taylor Sweet; her sister Judith Ann; and her sister-in-law Carol Asher. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
