She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Koschalk and Elizabeth Koschalk (Toth); her husband Frank Novotny; and her siblings, Rudy Koschalk and Ellie Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Susan (Mike Hochradel) and Jeff Novotny; her grandchildren, Kaylah Menchaca (Kyle Ellis) and Cameron Menchaca (Madison Sample); her daughter Jacqueline Novotny; and her friend Epiphany.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home-Oregon Chapel (440 S Coy Rd, Oregon, OH 43616). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (729 White St., Toledo, OH 43605).
