Rhea R. Davies Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rhea R. Davies (Oregon, Ohio), who passed away on May 9, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rhea may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rhea touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Rought and Elizabeth Rought (Radsick); her husbands, John F. Davies and Clarence Mottmiller; and her sister Pat Bullock.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Mottmiller (Deb), Keith "Butch" Mottmiller (Katie), Patti Mahoney (Mike) and Larry Mottmiller (Sheila); and her close friend Gene Hagedorn. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, many stepchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home-Oregon Chapel (440 S Coy Rd, Oregon, OH 43616). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
