He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Nusbaum and Rose [Lohner] Nusbaum; his former wives, Arlene Monk and Betty Chio; his son Richard A. Nusbaum; his brother Edward Nusbaum; his siblings-in-law, John Webber and Janet Nusbaum; and his stepson Daniel Chio.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mahr; his children, Brenda Allison (Mark), Michael Nusbaum (Ginny) and Karen Shaffer (Harry Allen); his grandchildren, Cody Allison (Hannah Smith), Jordan Allison (Chelsie Miller), Macy Beier (Kevin), Brittany Gerner (Jordan), Ryan Nusbaum (Kristen), Brandon Shaffer and Chelsey Sendelbach (Austin); his great grandchildren, Addison, Dominic, Elaina, Harper, Jack, Kyle, Sadie and Shelby; his stepchildren, Ruth Chio, Jack Chio (Barbara), Michele Culver (Tedd), Anita Dagg (Robert), Jeffrey Mahr (Heidi), Joseph Mahr (Melinda) and John Mahr; his stepgrandchildren, Hope, Paige Baumgartner, Michelle Chio, James Culver (Brittany), Andrew Culver (Yuki), Amanda Dull (Jamie), Jennifer George, Calla, Derek, Isabelle Mahr (Brandon Garcia), Nathaniel, Nicholas Mahr and Nicole Meyer (Justin); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Emmett, Gideon, Julia, Keiran, Piper and Evelyn; and his siblings, Ann Kahn (Gary), Charles Nusbaum (Linda), James Nusbaum (Patricia), Thomas Nusbaum and Patricia Webber (Larry Parrish).
