He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolland Martin and Blanche Martin (Mosure); his brother Dennis Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Cash, Dixie Conine and Gail Fancher.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette Martin; his children, Susan Morris (Warren) and Michael Martin; his grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Aleshia, Michael II and Juan Yabarra; and his sisters, Sharon Grice (Tim) and Cindy Zieroff (Dick). He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
His personal goal was to donate 50 gallons of blood, and he had already reached an incredible 40 gallons, a testament to his generosity and commitment to helping others.
