She was predeceased by : her mother Mary Elizabeth Smith (Moore); her uncle Armand Smith (William C. Arnold); her grandparents, Rankie and Bessie Moore; her father Grant Smith; her former life partners, Frank Alexander and John R. Hymore; and her nephew Howard Smith.

She is survived by : her daughter Kimberly Whitmore (Tim); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Pettit (Chad), Nicholas Whitmore and Travis Whitmore (Marissa); her great grandchildren, Maverick and Evelyn Whitmore; and her brother Jerry Smith (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces, cousins and special friends.
