It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Charles Burkey Jr. of Oregon, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Tonya; his children, Jonathan Cready, Alexis Burkey and Thomas Charles Burkey III; his grandchildren, Braelyn and Emmitt; his mother Linda Burkey; and his siblings, Chester Burkey (Christie), Jenny Cummings (TJ) and Mikey Burkey (Julie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freck Funeral Chapel (1155 S Wynn Rd, Oregon, OH 43616). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
