He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan G. Gerber and Anna Gerber (Lehman); and his siblings, Hazel Slutz, Clinton Gerber and Clark Gerber.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Gerber (Grace) of Worthington and Susan Ellis (Sean) of Rittman; his grandchildren, Jaret Gerber, Justin Ellis, Jacob Ellis, Anna Gerber and Lauren Gerber; and his siblings, Margaret Lindsay of Massillon and Wallace Gerber of Dalton.
