He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilia Torres (Juarez) and Ignacio "Nacho" Torres; and his wife Karen S. Martin. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Maines, Tammy Jarvis (James), Trina Johnston (Darin) and Tina Hair (Keith); his grandchildren, Michael Hair, Kylie Martin, Christopher, Alexis Ann Maines, Kyle Johnston and Kelsie Curie; and his great grandchildren, Dawson, Daphne Hair, Riley Martin and Alaia Laungraj.
