We are sad to announce that, on February 2, 2026, at the age of 78, Daniel D. Butzer of Orrville, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Butzer and Marjorie Butzer (Brown); and his sister Carol S. Heidt. He is survived by: his wife Sandy McDaniel; his children, Aaron D. Butzer of Marshallville and Lisa C. Patterson of Dalton; his grandchildren, Steven Indorf (Megan), A. J. Butzer, Elsa Fowler (Austin), Kyle Nester and Madison Nester; his great grandchildren, Bryson, Ivy and Ryland; and his sisters, Patricia A. Howell and Janice F. Purdy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, OH 44691.
