He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Geiser and Esther Geiser (Steiner); his wife Jennie Geiser; his siblings, Harvey Geiser Jr., Vincent Geiser, Joyce Miller (Wayne) and Gladys Nissley (Lloyd); and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie and Freda Geiser.

He is survived by: his children, Don Schaefer of West Salem, Kristen Campbell (Jeff) of Ashland and Jodi Holmes (Tom) of Rittman; his grandchildren, Mathew Schaefer (Kelsey), Kurtis Schaefer (Stephanie), Kile Schaefer (Breanna), Bethanie Skelly (Jacob), Joshua Rohr (Lisa Starling), Brittainee Smith, Chelsie Hess (Chase), Sage Porter, Broderick Holmes (Amy) and Bryce Holmes; his great grandchildren, Piper, Maisie, Lee, Haven, Jhett, Axel, Lurayah, Abby, William, Bennett, Rowan and Hadley; and his siblings, Vernon Geiser of Wooster, Ron Geiser (Janice) of Dalton, Russel Geiser of Orrville, Ellis Geiser of Orrville, Delvin Geiser (Cindy) of Orrville, Marcella Loker (Ed) of Dalton, Ruth Hershberger (Galen) of Fredericksburg, Ida Marie Yoder (Tom) of Donnellson and Pauline Arnold (Gary) of Elkhart, Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
