He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Coburn and Jannie Coburn (Minter); his wife Phyllis Crum; his grandson Shawn Toney; and his siblings, Lou Coburn and Harry Coburn.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Toney (Darian) of Dalton, George Coburn (Karen) of Delaware, Michael Coburn of Wooster and Jeremy Coburn (Marin Shilling) of Marshallville; and his grandchildren, Amber, Braydyn, Kyla, Kate, Charlie and William.
