Jim leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jim’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jim will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Roxie JoAnn McGrew (Gerhart). He is survived by: his wife Doris McGrew; his daughter Jennifer Kiper (Brian) of Wooster; his grandson Hunter Kiper (Hannah Reedy); and his siblings, Patty Ramirez of Las Vegas, Tommy McGrew of Mt. Pleasant, Billy McGrew of Rural Hall, Ronald E. McGrew (Jayne) of Marshallville, Randy McGrew of Cincinnati, Denny McGrew of New Holstein and Becky Amstutz (Dan) of Massillon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hall of Champions.
