He was predeceased by: his parents, Basel Odis and Ona Marie Lake (Tomes); and his former wife Janice Lake. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Gibson (Kevin) and Alan Lake (Laura); his grandson Mitchell Lake; and his pet Buffy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Paine Funeral Home (140 E Main St, Orwell, OH 44076). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Colebrook North Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ashtabula County Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Road, Ashtabula, OH 44004.
