It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Hopes of Orwell, Ohio, born in Austinburg, Ohio, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Hopes and Helen Hopes (Himrod); and his siblings, Elizabeth Waters and Richard Hopes. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Hopes (Turner); his daughter Vicki Lynn Gargas (David); his sisters, Virginia Simonson and Dorothy Hare; and his great grandchildren, Paul Gargas, Chad Dowell, Mark, Christinia, Jeffery and Amy.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Orwell United Methodist Church.
