He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kassay and Julia Elizabeth Kassay (Ban); and his sister-in-law Susan Groudle-Kassay. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Kassay (Wozniak) of Orwell; his siblings, Elmer Kassay (Peg) of Villages, Robert Kassay of Colebrook, Alicia "Ann" Prusinski (Thomas) of Orwell and David Kassay (Jessica) of Colebrook; and his stepchildren, Paul and Carolyn Rosipko. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paine Funeral Home (140 E Main St, Orwell, OH 44076). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the Colebrook North Cemetery (7925 OH-46, Orwell, OH 44076).
