He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Ann Mercer and Jack Dean Mercer. He is survived by: his children, Paul Mercer (Nicole) of North Augusta, Rose Callen (Todd) of Girard and Gabrielle Machia of Orwell, Ohio.; his siblings, Beverly Mercer of Andover, Ohio and Jack Mercer of Orwell, Ohio; his grandchildren, Emelia and Easton Callen; and his pet Phoenix. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.
