She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Mallula and Faunetta Mallula (Phipps). She is survived by: her children, Gabriel, Zakariah, Kippany, Benjamin, Gloriea and Isaac Garriga (C. Paul Garriga); her sisters, Alnita Paterson (David) and Nanette Serra (Ray); and her siblings' children, Sally, Oakley and Ian.
