He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reiner and Rose Reiner; his daughter Mary Beth Reiner; and his brothers, Ronald and Doug Reiner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Reiner; his sons, Gilbert Reiner, Jr. (Charmaine) and Christopher Reiner; his grandsons, Nathan and Nicholas Reiner; and his sister-in-law Jo Gilsdorf. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
