He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lewis and Nancy Lou Bowersock (Metz); his siblings, Nancy Hatula and Chris Bowersock; his son-in-law Charles Nestor; and his sister-in-law Brenda Bowersock.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lucille; his children, Tammy Lou Bowersock-Bradley (Mike), Michael Charles Bowersock (Kristi), Elaine Renee Nestor and Samuel Jared Bowersock; his grandchildren, Elisabeth, Abraham Bradley, Ashlie Shull (Brandon), Ellissa Helf (Garrette) and Chase Rodocker; his great grandchildren, Eli, Gabriella, Javan, Liam and Camryn Draxton; and his brother Charles Bowersock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
