He was predeceased by : his parents, Norwood Johnston and Lois Johnston (Evans); and his brothers, Norwood, Bill, Dan and Bob Johnston.
He is survived by : his wife Vickie Hayman of Ostrander, Ohio; his daughters, Jenny Buzek (Mike) of Fort Mill and Maggie Walker (Jason) of Plain City, Ohio; his siblings, Harriett Lenhart of Midlothian, VA, Joe Johnston of Marion and Steve Johnston (Barbara) of Marion, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Taylor Bloise (Casey), Tori Walker, Emily Walker, Grace Walker, Gabbie Walker and Macie Buzek.
