Hovest of Ottawa, Ohio, born in Miller City, Ohio, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Hovest (Berg); her daughter Mary Ann Hovest; her brother-in-law Herman Weber; and her parents-in-law, Richard Hovest (Lenore), Betty Maag (George), Stanley Hovest (Dorothy) and Greg Hovest.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Hovest (Cindy) of Ottawa, Frederic Hovest of Ottawa, Dr. Christine Hovest of Ottawa, Beth Hempfling (Keith) of Ottawa and David Hovest (Mary) of Lake Leelanau, MI.; her grandchildren, Tony Hovest (Meghan), Torey Hovest (Jenny), Chelsea Escamilla (Michael), Ashley Duling (Jeremy), Stephanie Kahle (Jake) and Kadie Hempfling; her great grandchildren, Ezra, Milo, Lane and Gus Hovest; her grandchildren, Landon, Liam, Nina Hovest, Leah, Noah Escamilla, Ethan and Savannah Duling; her sister Patricia Weber of Menomonie, WI; her sister-in-law Patricia Hovest of Ottawa; her siblings, Wilma Kreinbrink (Edward), Charles Siefker (Rosemary), Paul Siefker (Margaret), Julia Siefker and Reverend James Siefker; and her daughter Bea. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
