With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald T. Gerding of Ottawa, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius "Neil" Gerding and Eleanore Gerding (Rosenbauer); and his wife Joan Ruhe. He is survived by: his daughters, Natalie Roberts (John) of Toledo, Julie Gerding of Dandridge, TN and Ann Luneke (Chris) of Dayton; and his grandchildren, Jackie Roberts, Audrey Roberts, Bailey Luneke and Mason Luneke.
