It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Niese of Ottawa, Ohio, born in Leipsic, Ohio, who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Norbert Niese; his wife Joann Nienberg; his siblings, Richard Niese (Eileen) and Margaret "Maggie" Warnecke (Bill); and his brother-in-law Don Recker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Recker of Glandorf, Leoma Balbaugh (Harold) of Miller City, Agnes Maag (Bob) of Glandorf and Virgil Niese (Margaret) of Leipsic.
Memorial donations may be made to Putnam County Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
