Norman V. Meyer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norman V. Meyer of Ottawa, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Meyer and Frances Meyer (Niese); his brothers, Richard Meyer, Robert Meyer, Tom Meyer and Jim Meyer (Rita); and his siblings-in-law, Dave Maas and Joan Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Swary (David) of New Bavaria, David Meyer (Heather) of Bluffton, Dennis Meyer (Cheri) of Gilboa and Larry Meyer (Vanessa) of Maumee; his grandchildren, Anthony, Hannah, Noah, Emily, Aryel, Bailey and Gena; his great grandchildren, Iyla, Elliott of Ryker, J. J. and Willow; his siblings, Marie Hoorman (John), Alice Maas, Frank Meyer, Elmer Meyer (Sharon), John Meyer and Bill Meyer (Kate); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Meyer, Pat Meyer and Sharon Meyer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Love Funeral Home - Ottawa (405 E 3rd St, Ottawa, OH 45875). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the STS Peter and Paul Catholic Church - Ottawa (307 N Locust St, Ottawa, OH 45875).
