He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Grismore and Helen Grismore (Hoffman). He is survived by: his significant other Carol Geiger of Pandora; his children, Brian Grismore of Ottawa and Desiree Lunde of North Pole, Alaska; his stepchildren, Wes Geiger (Nicole) of Johnstown, Randy Geiger (Lavon) of Pandora, Amanda Wilhelm (Craig) of Pandora and Eva Okuly (Derrick) of Pandora; and his sisters, Beverly Basinger of Alvion, Sarah Hammers of Rock Creek and Eileen Risser of Ada, Ohio.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
