She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen S. Klinger and Kathryn Klinger (Carpenter); her husband Charles William "Bill" Shartzer; her son Robert Shartzer; and her siblings, James E. Klinger and Karen Dackin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tamara Ortega (Steve Kuhlman) and Suzanne Claye (Bill); and her grandchildren, Justin Ortega (Amanda), Kyle Ortega (Kim), Ashley Froman, Brandon Smith (Brianna), Kelly Jordan (Derek) and BJ Shartzer. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
