He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Bruskotter and Marilyn Bruskotter (Gulker); and his son Mark Bruskotter. He is survived by : his children, Matthew Bruskotter of Lima, Emily Keaney (James) of Xenia, Kathryn Bruskotter of Ottawa and Christopher Bruskotter of Ottawa; his granddaughters, Lydia and Sylvia Bruskotter; his children, Jack and Evelyn Keaney; and his siblings, Vicki Steffan, Nancy Nestor (Charles), Amy Bruskotter, Ted Bruskotter, Dave Bruskotter (Lonna), Dana Imm (John), Zach Bruskotter (Morgan) and Emma Westrick (Alex).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Love Funeral Home - Ottawa (405 E 3rd St, Ottawa, OH 45875). A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 7:50 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the STS Peter and Paul Catholic Church - Ottawa (307 N Locust St, Ottawa, OH 45875).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Educational Foundation, Putnam County Homecare and Hospice, or the Putnam County Cancer Assistance Program.
