He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver J. Beining and Elizabeth M. Beining (Gasser); his siblings, Julius Beining (Rita), Leona Berelsman (Linus), Ludvina Beining, Edna Baxter, Adeline Beining, Norma Reindel (Bernard), Robert Beining (Ruth) and Paul Beining; his brother-in-law Harold Schroeder; and his in-laws, Kenneth Kroeger (Marge), Arlene Bendele (Bob), Gene Lenhart, Janet Kroeger and Gloria Kroeger.

He is survived by: his children, Rod Beining (Sue) of Ottoville, Sheila Miller (Gene) of Ottoville, Larry Beining (Lisa) of Ottoville and Jerry Beining (Sue) of Ottoville; his grandchildren, Krista Hughes (Craig), Kevin Beining (Sara), Tyler Miller (Brittany), Brandon Miller, Derek Miller (Alyssa), Sarah Mawer (Kyle), Jill Schnipke (Craig), Gina Menke (Kurt), Kari Norbeck (Austin), Nick Beining (Jessica), Troy Beining (Cassandra), Nathan Beining (Jensyn) and Rachel Bunch (Dalton); his sister Ruth Schroeder of Brooklyn, MI; his sister-in-law Anne Beining of Ottoville; and his in-laws, Marilyn Lenhart of Spencerville, Bill Kroeger (Barb) of Delphos and Tom Kroeger of Delphos. He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (189 Church St, Ottoville, OH 45875). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
