He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Averesch and Anna Averesch (Wolke); his siblings, Wilfred Averesch, Raymond Averesch (Dorothea), Bernard Averesch (Mary Jane), Harold Averesch (Sandy), Gerald Averesch, Carmelita Schnipke (Vince) and Angelina Erhart (Jim); his nephew Ron Averesch; his brother-in-law Pat Kelly; and his in-laws, Kenny Miehls (Marcia), Steven Miehls, Earl Miehls, Jr. and Daniel Miehls.
He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy" Averesch; his children, Cindy Klima (Jim), Tina Menke (Zeke), Amy Berelsman (Tim) and Jeff Averesch (Jamie); his grandchildren, April Hickman (Bryan), Crystal Bartley (Derek), Logan Klima (Lauren), Dylan Klima (Jordan), Kari Amstutz (David), Ryan Menke, Alyssa Pohlman (Chris), Justin Berelsman (Shavani), Connor Berelsman (Cheyanna), Jocelyn Averesch and Jayda Averesch; his great grandchildren, Bard Hickman, Jr., James Hickman, Esme Hickman, Fox Hickman, Demi Bartley, Crew Bartley, Dez Bartley, Ledger Klima, Layla Klima, Laken Klima, Leni Klima, Palmer Klima, Augie Berelsman, Emilia Berelsman, Lillian Pohlman, Bennett Pohlman and Myles Pohlman; and his in-laws, Ronald J. Miehls, Rebecca Kelly and Kathy Weyrauch (Adrian).
A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (189 Church St, Ottoville, OH 45875).
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville or St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville, or Putnam County HomeCare and Hospice in memory of Ralph.
