He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank G. Carder and Elise C. Carder (Blockburger); his wife JoAnn Miller; and his siblings, Myrtle Brotherwood (Frances), Amelia Bullinger (Richard), Orville Carder (Clara), Donald Carder (Lucille), Lois Osting (Wilfred), Delbert Carder (Martha), Mary Lou Bullinger (Rollin), Jeanette Mesker (Donald), Colleen Carder and Roger Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Carder (Deborah) of Ottawa, Debra Verhoff (James) of Columbus Grove, Kathy McKee of Ravena and John Carder of Ottoville; and his in-laws, Stan Miller (Darlene) of Ottawa and Marianne Miller of Ottoville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Jackson Twp (16085 OH-634, Fort Jennings, OH 45844). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (189 Church St, Ottoville, OH 45875).
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
