With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Harold Russell of Otway, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Russell and Ferrell Russell of Kansas; his wife Kathy Gilliam Russell; and his brothers, Beveran "Happy" Russell and Douglas Pemberton.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Fisher (James) of Wheelersburg, Candy Hodge (Roy) of Chillicothe, Lindsey Verne of West Portsmouth, Ohio and Gregory Russell (Kristi) of West Portsmouth, Ohio; his siblings, Beverly Terry of Franklin Furnace, Diane Greeson (Gene) of Spokane, Marsha Fisher (Dave) of Canton, Ohio and Brent Russell of Elmer; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Miranda, Taylor, Brianna, Kaydan, Colt and Chevelle; his great grandchildren, Stormie and Harloe; and his close friend Julie Wilds of Otway, Ohio.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews he loved.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reed Funeral Home (612 Main St, Greenup, KY 41144).
Family has requested in lieu of flowers donation may be made towards funeral expenses.
