It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Jane Zaayer of Otway, Ohio, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Ranger Griffith and Mary M Goodman Griffith; her husband Phillip Albert Zaayer of Otway; her grandchildren, Holly D Oakley, Thomas "Curtis" Zaayer, Danielle Zaayer and Sandra Carnahan; her siblings, Marietta, Florence, Edgar, Luramae, Virginia, Ralph, Mona, Max, Mary, Ann and Lee; and her children-in-law, Randy Oakley and Lynda Zaayer.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Morris of Lakeview, Thomas R Zaayer of Village Grove, Phillip C "Chuck" Zaayer (Becky) of Somerset and Melissa Powell (Dan) of Otway; her grandchildren, Brad Oakley (Sara) of Lakeview, Jaime Spofford (Steve) of Belle Center, Jessica Dimmerling (Brad) of Lowesville, Connor Zaayer of Village Grove, Wyatt Zaayer of Village Grove, Rebekah Love of Washington, Phillip C Zaayer II of Ingleside, Steven Carnahan, Jennifer Kelley of Fort Myers, Daniel Rife of Aransas Pass, Ben Powell (Jennifer) of Rosemount and Nikki Montavon (Nathan) of McDermott; her great grandchildren, Lindsey, Stevie, MaKenna, Hayden, Sara, Kenli, Madison, Brooklyn, Brady, Madalyn, Katelynn, Rachael, Michael, Rebecca, Annabelle, Alexa, Amelia, Helena and Bella; and her sister Freda Kehree of Amanda. She is also survived by 11 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oswego Cemetery.
