She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Whinery and Marjorie Whinery (Fultz); and her siblings, JoAnn Whinery, Linda Taylor and Ray Whinery (Josephine).
She is survived by: her wife Kristen L. Jacobson of Oxford; her son John Whinery of Oxford; and her siblings, Cheryl Barber (Van) of Albuquerque, NM and Carl Whinery (Marsha) of Salem, OH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
