It is with sadness that the passing of Cynthia Kelley (Oxford, Ohio) is shared. Cynthia, born on December 8, 1930, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Cynthia Scudamore and Emanuel Lawrence Gebauer; her former husband Douglas Kelley; her son Stephen Kelley; her sisters, Arden Handler and Carolyne Laux; and her niece Lisa Handler.
She is survived by: her significant other Muriel Blaisdell; her grandson Miles Kelley; her daughter-in-law Valerie Briggs; her nieces and nephews, Jane Kelley, Betsy Newberry, Bob Kelley, Roger Handler, Richard and Larry Laux; and her grandchildren, Ella Cope, Akio and Chisa Weise.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Knolls of Oxford (6727 Contreras Rd, Oxford, OH 45056). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name to the national Student Conservation Association, the Institute for Learning in Retirement at Miami University, and the Oxford Community Arts Center.
