He is survived by: his parents, Jeffrey Darkow and Barbara Darkow; his sister Sarah Otts (Mitchell); his nieces, Elaina and Madeline; his brother James Darkow (Alexa); and his pet Kismet. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dan Darkow Scholarship Fund (Fund 7038-001) at Miami University, 725 E. Chestnut St. Oxford, OH 45056, supporting future students and continuing the work to which Dan devoted his life.
