Diana leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Diana’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Kline and Walter Kline; her brother Frank; and her husband John Pheanis. She is survived by: her children, Julie Pheanis Purkey of Oxford and Wes Pheanis Montgomery of North Hollywood.
Therefore, her family believes that the best way to remember and memorialize her would be to donate to and/or adopt a dog or a cat from a local animal shelter or rescue organization or, perhaps, to one day stop and see if that sad-looking dog or cat on the side of the road is lost or in need of a home just as Diana so often did during her long life.
