Jesse Dean Olsen Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Jesse Olsen, born on September 3, 1968, who resided in Oxford, Ohio passed away at the age of 57 suddenly on November 18, 2025, in Wallace, Idaho. He was born to Patti Kratzer and Barry Olsen in Long Branch, New Jersey.
Jesse was always willing to put others before himself, constantly seeking ways to enhance the lives of his loved ones. His generosity and selflessness were matched by his joyful spirit. He brought laughter and smiles to everyone he met. In addition to his devotion to family Jesse had a passion for golf, often putting a little water on his ball, finding the water more than the fairway. Professionally he dedicated 25 years to Rumpke Waste and Recycling of Cincinnati, earning the respect and of colleagues and friends alike.
Above all, the pride of Jesse's life and his greatest achievement was his 4 sons- Tyler, Brandon, Dawson and Brody, who meant the world to him.
Jesse is survived by his children Tyler, Brandon, Dawson and Brody Olsen. His parents Elizabeth Kratzer, Barry (Jean) Olsen, brothers Tommy (Gina) Olsen, Chris Olsen, Doug (Chloe) Hood, and Chris (Tara) Hood. Nieces Whitney (Andrew) Lierman, Sarah (Daniel) Lierman, Lindsey (Zach) White, Hannah (Sam) Santiago, Olive Doan, and grandchildren Carter Olsen and Olivia Olsen.and many others. He has six great nieces and one great nephew. He is proceeded in death by his Grandparents, and Craig Kratzer. Celebration of life will be scheduled at later date. In lieu of flowers an account is being created for his sons.

As we bid adieu to Jesse's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jesse has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
