He was predeceased by: his brother Ryan Andrew; his aunt Julie; and his grandfather Bernie. He is survived by: his parents, Michael G Kurdila and Jerri Kurdila (Banks); his spouse Ruohan Zhong; his grandparents, Gerald, Jacqueline Banks (Geis) and Carroll Kurdila (Miller); Matthew Kurdila and Chelsea Hipsher. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
