He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Clara Sherman and Alfred Sherman; his wife Marilyn Sherman; his children, Tamyra Young (Roger), Melanie Stupak (Rich) and Van Sherman (Kay); his grandchildren, Ryan Young (Stephanie), Melissa McGowan (Kevin), Nicholas Young (Danielle), Kristina Rust (Jason) and Jonathan Stupak (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Liam, Haley and Grace McGowan.

I also had the opportunity to work with Dr. Sherman in the Office of Continuing Education for several years while I was in college.
